If you want fantastic views for your wedding, elopement, or even vow renewal Wyoming is the place to be!!
I have never shot a wedding or elopement in Jackson or Grand Teton National Park, but It is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too. In the park there are many fabulous locations for having a ceremony, an intimate elopement, or even a vow renewal. The best time of year to come is in June-July because it isn’t so hot like August but not so cold and snowing like how spring is. This is a national Park with lots of wildlife including an emense population of grizzly bears so wherever you choose to have your ceremony please be bear aware and bring bear spray.
Oxbow Bend is a gorgeous pull off on the main road of the park with the snake river running right in front of the tetons.
Schwabacher Landing is a boat landing located a few miles south of Snake River Overlook, along the east shore of the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, U.S. This location for a ceremony is one I would highly recommend because the views are INSAINE especially at sunrise and sunset when the clouds reflect off of the water. There is a field of wild flowers down by the water that is perfect for that intamite elopement. There is also an easy access parking lot down at the landing as well so it is not a hike at all. I will warn you that there are tones of mosquitos by the river so if you don’t like bugs or don’t want to deal with them then this spot in grand teton might not be for you.
I am not sure exactly where this is, but it will be on your right hand side once you have entered the park. This field has gorgeous yellow and purple wildflowers growing everywhere. Next to it there is an open field with the gorgeous Grand Tetons in the background.
Jackson Hole has an abundance of wedding venues that are fabulous.
Jackson Hole Tennis & Golf Club
Yellowstone is an amazing place to get married. There are waterfalls in Canyons, Open fields with mountains, lakes with misty clouds, and colorful rock formations with hot springs.
