The Paiute Golf Course and Country Club

The Paiute Golf Course and Country Club is one of my favorite places to shoot weddings because it is so versatile. There is a beautiful green golf course with a blue pond and lots of wildlife. Along with that, you can also see the dessert side of things with Joshua trees and cacti. There are many places you can have your ceremony such as on the course, in front my the clubhouse in this garden, or even inside if it rains that day with lots of natural light. This golf course is right next to the mountains and the sunsets are unbelievable!!

Getting Ready Photos

In the clubhouse, they have his a hers suits or groomsmen and bridal suits. They have a vanity a cute couch and a lockable closet to safely store your things. One of the super cool things that stood out to me is that in the groomsmen’s suit, they have a poker table for you to play on.

The reception hall was so beautiful and has some of the most amazing natural window lighting.

Flat Lays

Flat lays are some of my favorite parts of a wedding because you as the photographer kind of get to play around with different ribbons and florals along with all the special little details that your couple gives you.

The Ceremony

This couple decided to opt out of the first look. Don’t get me wrong I love shooting first looks, but there is something about capturing the emotion of a bride and groom seeing each other for the first time when they come down the aisle. In your ceremony, your maid of honor is your best friend. Once you get down the aisle my biggest tip is to give her your bouquet and have her fluff your train if you have one. Another tip is to Have your officant move out of the way for your first kiss.

I can’t recommend enough that you take 30 minutes to 1 hour during cocktail hour to sneak away with your photographer and videographer to get portraits done. Most likely this is when the best lighting is.
